Our campus offers two innovative programs serving grades K-12.
Magnolia Academy (K-8): This seat-based liberal arts program provides 5 days of engaging, integrated core classroom instruction with a focus on community connections and the arts. Students develop mastery of their personalized skill goals and targeted instruction in small groups.
Renaissance Real-World High School (9-12): Do you want a truly different high school experience? Discover a high school that emphasizes deeper connections with fewer teachers and ensures that every student is prepared for both college and the world of work through rigorous, supported courses, school-organized internships, and concurrent college enrollment. Students graduate with a resume of experiences and skills, a UC-ready transcript, college units and friends that will last a lifetime.

December 13, 2024Twenty-seven students participated in the Magnolia Spelling Bee, reported Susie Carpenter, program facilitator. The top three winners were Josue Garcia, 8th grade, Nathan Abatca, 8th grade, and Ella Jacklin, 7th grade, placing first, second, and third. The three will go on to compete in Springs’ All School Bee Championship in January.

November 13, 2024The Magnolia Student Center held a Door Dash event based on the theme “Once Upon a Time” in which classroom doors were decorated and candy was distributed to the 700 who visited, reported
Susie Carpenter, program facilitator. All enjoyed the event, she said, as families “were hanging out in our living room areas visiting and eating candy.”

October 21, 2024The girls volleyball team from Springs’ Magnolia Student Center is headed to CIF playoffs after a successful 8-3 season and placing third in their league. The 12-girl team is heading to CIF playoffs for the 6th year in a row.

April 10, 2024Thirty-four high school students from Magnolia Student Center and Renaissance Valley Academy traveled to CalTrans in San Bernardino to learn about careers with CalTrans, reported Maureen Roye, director of CITE. CalTrans created a “career fair” atmosphere, she said, and students were able to talk with CalTrans staff from its different departments such as maintenance, construction, material testing, real estate, drone flying, and planning.
