Our campus offers two innovative programs serving grades K-12.
Magnolia Academy (K-8): This seat-based liberal arts program provides 5 days of engaging, integrated core classroom instruction with a focus on community connections and the arts. Students develop mastery of their personalized skill goals and targeted instruction in small groups.
Renaissance Real-World High School (9-12): Do you want a truly different high school experience? Discover a high school that emphasizes deeper connections with fewer teachers and ensures that every student is prepared for both college and the world of work through rigorous, supported courses, school-organized internships, and concurrent college enrollment. Students graduate with a resume of experiences and skills, a UC-ready transcript, college units and friends that will last a lifetime.

August 26, 2025The Magnolia Student Center kicked off its new school year with its high school IGNITE, reported Site Facilitator
Irma Herrera. Activities included a pep rally with alumni
Arthur Ortiz and his band performing; school staff also introduced the new mascot, Freddie Falcon.

June 24, 2025Springs’ Magnolia Student Center has new turf, reported Principal Jessica Carlton. It will improve recess and lunchtime, she believes, and provide a more positive experience for family events and sports activities. She said, “We look forward to having the kids back to enjoy it.”

May 28, 2025Magnolia Student Center’s 5
th grade participated in the school’s 6
th annual marketplace, reported
Jamie Secoda Martinez, vice principal. Students picked a partner, a product and store name, designed a store front and layout, and calculated costs and profits on items such as comics and jewelry. Students purchased each other’s items with class dollars saved; other classes and staff were also invited to participate in the marketplace.

April 24, 2025The Magnolia Student Center held a Renaissance Fair with staff and Springs families dressing in royal clothing (based on Springs’ annual theme), reported Kathryn Alexis-Woon, 3rd grade Academy teacher. The event included a marketplace showcasing items created by students, such as crocheted animals, stamped canvas bags, and scrunchies. Students practiced entrepreneurship by selling the items they created.
