All of our students are required to wear uniforms throughout the school year. Polo shirts and uniform pants must be worn daily. Uniforms do benefit students. The biggest benefit is they help take away the worry of what they’re going to wear and will everyone else like it and approve.

Here are some of the Pros to school uniforms:

• Help identify intruders in the school
• Diminish economic and social barriers between students
• Increase a sense of belonging and school pride

Polo shirts with the River Springs Crest are available for purchase at the Springs Spirit Store. Students are not required to wear a shirt with the River Springs crest. We just wanted you to know that they are available for purchase if you are interested.
Students must be in uniforms every day that they attend school. If a student comes without their uniform we will call home so the student can get appropriate attire. There are several different locations that you can purchase their uniforms at and all come with different costs. We know that everyone’s financial situation is different which is why we have several suggestions for you that would all meet our requirements for uniforms. We are not being specific with where your child’s uniforms are purchased as long as they meet the requirements outlined below. Students may also wear Polo dresses in the approved colors. White or black tights/leggings may be worn underneath shorts, skirts or jumpers. All clothing is to fit appropriately without excessive sagging or tightness.
RSCS sweatshirts are also available for purchase from the Springs Spirit Store in Royal Blue or Black. These are the only acceptable hoodies that comply with our dress code and may be worn at any time. Hats and all non RSCS sweatshirts/jackets are not permitted inside the building.
Fridays will be a casual day and students will be allowed to wear jeans with one of the approved tops. The jeans may not have rips or tears in them. If a student comes dressed inappropriately on Friday we will call home for appropriate attire. Additional RSCS shirts are for sale from the Spirit Store and may be worn instead of the Polo on Fridays only.
