A Day at the Learning Center is impactful! More often than not we hear parents tell us that their student WANTS to come to school each day. All students are greeted by friendly staff telling them that they are special and we are happy they are here. Though class sizes can reach up to 25, the school invests in quality aides and campus staff who, along with the teachers, invest in the lives of each student. Students learn in many ways from one classroom to the next, they can be found reading and discussing in groups on the carpet, working on science or art projects as a team or maneuvering through a choreography and music while rehearsing for a production. Lunch and time outside are purposeful, maintaining a school culture of respect and safety. Through the choices in workshops, all students have the opportunity to explore their gifts and talents and/or master an academic skill. The day ends as it began, together as a school, along with all staff, and connecting with families as students are picked up to go home.
The Community is our Classroom
Our families are our biggest resource in using the community as our classroom. Tapping into the diverse population of our school brings a variety of guest speakers to our campus, Homeschool field trips arranged to explore fascinating places and to meet experts in our area, and providing our students with the opportunity to give back to their community in a variety of ways.
Academics
By choosing to enroll in the learning center, parents are choosing to enrich the homeschooling experience for their student. Students could receive direct instruction and classroom activities necessary to master Grade-level Standards or simply explore subjects in a fun and engaging collaborative environment.
Our online programs detail all the lessons that are taught each week in our workshops, empowering parents to be and stay connected to every aspect of their child education.
‘
Humanities
Our students can enjoy humanities, language arts and history, taught in a variety of workshops such as Travel the Globe, Writing with History and foreign languages. This enables them to read about, write about, and especially have meaningful discussions about history, cultures and current events. This is especially important as the Common Core State Standards require students to provide evidence that they can analyze, justify and creatively express themselves using technology.

Math/Science
Math is personalized to meet the wide range of abilities and individual needs. Our many online math programs are interactive and designed to identify a student’s area of strength so they can progress at a meaningful rate, and weakness so re-teaching and sufficient practice are accessible to every student. Hands-on science allows our students the opportunity to put what they are learning in science at home into practice. Students are able to explore and experiment with materials that may not be as easily accessible at home, or just maybe too messy or time consuming for parents to fit into an already busy homeschool schedule. Drawing on student interests in workshops, such as ESPN Science, makes science relevant and fun.

Students at many centers have the opportunity to perform on stage or compete in robotics competitions. All centers have an art class where students are introduced to various artists and art forms.
Events
All of our TK-12 learning centers hold an Open House twice per year where parents and Eses can come view and celebrate the learning that the students have engaged in. Many of our centers hold musical theater performances as well as year-end promotion ceremonies for Kindergarten and 8th grade. All of our learning center students have the opportunity to participate in Homeschool events such as Science Fair, History Day, Spelling Bee, Talend Show, and more!
