i-Shine provides Temecula area students an innovative learning environment with expert subject specialist teachers for children from grades TK-8. Two programs are offered:

Mosaic TK-8: Kids take hands-on, core workshop-style classes Monday through Thursday. Friday is a home study day that focuses on personalized development of mastery and individual project work.

iShine Pink Out Day, Farm Visit, Backpacks

Springs iShine Student Center participated in Pink Out Day in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. TK-K students also enjoyed a visit to Peltzer’s Farm’s pumpkin patch. And, representatives from Toyota donated 400 backpacks and school supplies to the school.

New Principals: Riverside & iShine Student Centers

Gina Corby-Potter (pictured) is the new principal at Springs' Riverside Student Center. She has worked for private and charter schools for 17 years, teaching K-8, and as an athletic director and principal. This is her first year at Springs. She likes animals, traveling to historic landmarks, reading and playing, and coaching sports.

Temecula Student Center Promotes Literacy

Springs Temecula Student Center 4th grade teacher Rachelle Smiley promoted literacy in her classroom by creating Camp Read-A-Lot. Students went to class and were greeted by tents in which they could read. Vice Principal Valerie Walker said, "Using flashlights, campers embarked on a morning full of literacy."
