Riverside Student Center provides TK-5th grade students with an engaging, blended learning environment, combining the best of classroom instruction with the best that homeschooling offers. Two program options are available:
Mosaic TK-5: Kids attend engaging, STEAM-infused, grade-level classes Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Tuesday/Thursday are parent-supported Homestudy days that focus on personalized development of mastery and individual project work.
Homeschool Learning Center TK-4: Enrichment workshops are offered for our homeschool program students. These fun classes range from core math to arts, drama, and project work.
We partner with the other Springs campuses in Riverside (Flabob Airport Preparatory Academy and Pathfinder Student Center) to provide families with 6-12th grade students educational continuity as well as community days and staggered arrival/dismissal times.
Throughout November and December, all Springs sites and programs are invited to participate in Springs' Regional Preliminary Spelling Bees. Winners from each program or academy earn the opportunity to advance to the All-School Spelling Bee in January—a showdown where the strongest Springs spellers compete for a chance to move on to their local county competition.
Jacqueline Leon, 10, a 4th-grade student at the Riverside Student Center, is the April 2025 Student Artist of the Month. Her artwork is entitled “The Path to Greatness.” She lives in Bloomington.
The Student Artists of the Month for September and October 2023 are Noelle Allison and Jet Wilbur. Noelle is a 6th grade student at FAPA; her artwork is entitled “We Boldly Go.” Jet is a 3rd grade student at the Riverside Student Center; Jet’s artwork is entitled “Deep into My Mind.”
Springs Charter Schools prepares me for a career in the 21st century with the CTE class that gets me thinking about my future and gives me the motivation I need to read and reach the goals and dreams I once thought were impossible.
