Students are expected to wear a solid black cap and gown (matte finish is preferred) in order to participate in the graduation ceremony. A tassel matching the color of your sash with a “2025” charm will be provided to all seniors. Students can purchase a gown or borrow one from a sibling/friend.
There are many economical choices available to purchase caps and gowns online. This is an example of a cap and gown you can purchase on Amazon for approximately $30. Information about the other Graduation Regalia can be found below. Students may only decorate the top of their cap and it must be done tastefully. ALL decorations MUST lay FLAT on the cap. Nothing can lay perpendicular, thus allowing us to see the decoration beyond eye level. Nothing can hang from any side of the cap. Your cap cannot make noise, such as bells or horns. Cap designs must be school-appropriate and cannot include offensive language or derogatory names/statements. If purchasing a cap and gown presents a financial hardship, an option to borrow a cap and gown on the day of the ceremony is available. Quantities are limited. ALL STUDENTS MUST COMPLETE by 3/21/25All students participating in the graduation ceremony must wear a black cap and gown (purchased independently) with a coordinating tassel and sash. The 2025 Graduation Regalia package can be purchased for $25. The package includes a coordinating tassel and sash specific to the graduate’s program as well as a commemorative medallion.
