Academic Advisement

In order to prepare high school students for achieving both their high school diploma and their post-high school goals, it is important to assist them with careful academic planning. The flexibility Springs Charter offers with student’s developing interests and goals requires extra communication and increased accuracy in tracking course requirements for the student. Academic advisement staff should consider what the students’ post-high school goals are before determining any courses or curriculum.

Two Important Questions:

All high school advisement conversations begin with two important questions:

  1. What is the student’s high school graduation plan?
  2. What are the student’s post-graduation goals?
