State-mandated Assessments at Springs Charter Schools
At Springs Charter Schools we believe that student learning is best assessed using a variety of methods throughout the student’s educational journey. As state-funded public charter schools, Springs Charter Schools must also participate in all state-mandated testing (ELPAC and CAASPP) for students in grades K-12. See the link below for requirements for each specific grade level. Each assessment is administered at a Student Center or a regional site in order to best serve the varied geography of our families.
The assessments required are located on the chart above (Coming soon), and are subject to change based on State law/Education Code. Students will participate in the above assessments based on their grade level, IEP, 504 Plan, and/or English Language Learner Status. The administration dates for the tests are available on the Charter’s Master Calendar located on the website. If a student needs to participate in any of the exams, they will be notified by the Site Director, Education Specialist, or via letter/Email with exact times, dates, and locations of the examination.
