Jaydan Driskill, 18, a senior who will soon graduate from Springs’ Venture Online program, has received a full academic and women’s wrestling scholarship from Central Methodist University (CMU) in Missouri. Two students in Springs’ Bear River Student Center addressed the school’s board of directors as part of the principal’s presentation on their success at the Center. Fifth-grader Rachel Gomez, Principal Shane Wickwire reported, “spoke about how much she loves Bear River, describing how she likes the fact that personalization takes place in the classrooms, allowing her and her fellow students to work at their own pace.” Continue reading →
