Springs staff members Holly Hungerford Cocking, Tammy Jackson, Tanya Rogers, and Natali South participated in the National Alliance for Public Charter Schools conference in Las Vegas. Featured speakers included Sal Khan, founder of the Khan Academy. Ms. Jackson, Springs’ Senior Director of Individualized Learning Programs, remarked, “Hearing the story of how Khan Academy came to fruition from the man himself was amazing!”
Sessions included discussions of charter school governance, finance, and leadership.
Ms. Jackson continued, “This was a wonderful way to get refreshed for a new school year and all came away with new ideas to start 2019-2020.”
