Springs’ Magnolia Student Center honored its custodian, Albert Freeman, with an Albert Freeman Day, reported Principal Beverly Voechting. She explained, “Albert is our custodian. But he is more than that.
He takes care of all of us on campus. He is the traffic guard in the morning and afternoons. He keeps our campus clean and keeps us safe. He is always present in an emergency. Students and staff absolutely adore him. Therefore, we decided to honor him for everything he does for us.”
Every class had an activity for Mr. Freeman, such as dancing, reading a book, singing a song, playing dodge ball and performing yoga. Mrs. Voechting continued, “Albert was sore and tired by the end of the day, but he thoroughly felt the love that was expressed by everyone.”
