From the Superintendent …
Connections Academy at Springs Begins Association with Springs
I’m pleased to announce that we have a new homeschool curriculum partnership: Connections Academy at Springs. This is an online-delivered curriculum prepared by Pearson, the large textbook company. This online program serves over 100,000 students across the USA.
This is a curriculum choice only. Springs provides the teachers and all the support around this curriculum just like we do for every other program in our school. It can be a good fit for athletes in need of schedule flexibility so that they can compete as well as for students who have not been successful in a traditional classroom environment. Students are given daily assignments which are assessed by teachers; there is also an option to participate in live lessons online.
We’re pleased to welcome Principal Laurie Campbell and her Academy team to Springs. And for parents interested in the program for their children, space is still available, but limited. Click here for additional information.
