DaVinci Student Earns Taekwondo Black Belt

December 14, 2021

Danny Cheatham, a 4th grader with the DaVinci Academy at the Temecula Student Center, earned his 1st Dan Black Belt in Taekwondo. The 9-year-old is the youngest student in his Taekwondo School; he has worked the past four years to earn the black belt. The test took over seven hours, reported his father, Dan Cheatham, as part of a nearly 12-hour day that culminated in belt commencement ceremonies.

Colleges Recruit Springs Seniors

Springs seniors participated in a College Kickoff at the Temecula and Magnolia Student Centers with students receiving SWAG from Mt. San Jacinto and Riverside City Colleges. Students learned how to apply to college, FAFSA and financial aid. Continue reading

TSC Students Win Science/Engineering Awards

May 5, 2021

After winning the Temecula Student Center´s Science and Engineering Fair, 5th grader Arthor Hawkes and sisters Maya and Leilani Launiu (4th and 7th graders) went on to win at the all-Springs Fair. Continuing their winning streak, both projects advanced two more levels from the regional competition to the Riverside County Fair.

Temecula Student Center Mourns Death of Senior

May 5, 2021

Springs’ Temecula Student Center is mourning the death of senior Garret Caouette, who died April 22 after his car was rear-ended by a truck. Garret was an athlete who was active in his church; he had planned to attend Cal State Channel Islands in the fall.
