News briefs from the Temecula Student Center:
Counselor Madeline Holkeboer created a “Link” team of high school students to support incoming freshmen. They gave presentations to 8th-grade grade students about high school expectations.
The Center held a succulent planting and memorial (pictured) for Garret Caouette, a student who was killed in a traffic accident in 2021.
The Murrieta Chamber of Commerce honored senior Hayden Burr as a Student of the Month.
The 5th-grade made presentations on the Living American Revolution, with students dressing as characters of the era, playing games, and enjoying hands-on learning about the American Revolution.
