Forty students from Palm Academy grades pre-K through 4 attended the Riverside County Fair and National Date Festival in Indio; 20 students in grades 2 through 4 from teacher Maureen King’s class entered the Fair’s elementary school art competition. Aaron Allen, a 10-year-old Palm Academy, 5th grader who lives in La Quinta, earned a gold medal in the USA Powerlifting 2015 SoCal Regionals Youth 1 Division (for ages 10 – 11). It was his first competition.
