Palm Academy held an after-school music theory class during its first semester. The instructors introduced students to the piano and recorder, which included basic music theory.
“All students were enthusiastic about learning music,” reported Alyssa Gonzales, principal. The culmination of the class, she continued, was “an enjoyable and delightful performance [by students] for family, friends, and staff,” and the class “sparked an interest in several students to continue their pursuit of musical interests.”
