The Hemet Student Center, 105 N. Girard Street, will host a “Poetry Slam: Voices of the Underground,” on Friday, March 8, 5-7 p.m.
Note: The new date is March 8.
The event allows students to showcase their talents in a variety mediums, including poetry, songwriting, and prose. Admission is free, the public is welcome. Chips, pizza, nachos, and drink will be for sale.
The Center will also present its inaugural Winter Formal Dance on Thursday, February 15, 5-9 p.m. at 19871 Gilman Springs Road, San Jacinto. The theme will be “The Roarin’ 20’s”; admission is $5, which includes a food item and drink.
