Magnolia 6th Grade Students Collect Toys and Books for Young Cancer Patients

The Magnolia Student Center 6th grade class of teacher Tricia Williams reached out to cheer the spirits of children battling cancer in Loma Linda University’s Children’s Hospital.

They wrote Christmas cards and collected toys and books for distribution for about 50 of the young patients. Ms. Williams said, “The staff was very appreciative of our gift, and I even had the chance to see a few of the patients. It was a neat thing to do; it shows our kids that the season is about giving, not receiving.”
