S.P.R.E.E. Student-Parent Regional Educational Events

This year, our Homeschool S.P.R.E.E. (Student Parent Regional Educational Events) looks a little different. Though we won’t be gathering in our normal locations this fall, Springs is proud to be offering our families a live workshop for the Parent Certification program led by Michelle Sullivan. Tune in on Wednesday, October 14th, from 10:00am-1:00pm, to get the full scoop on how you can develop your student’s superpower skills this year.* Check out our topic below.
Calling All Heroes

Do your kids struggle explaining math in words? If you ask them how they arrived at an answer, could they verbally explain it and then write out their steps? If the struggle is as daunting as Kryptonite is to Superman, number talks are your solution! Learn how you can embrace a winning approach with math in an engaging, entertaining, and adventurous approach. Discussion points will also include the latest trends and research with Generation Z as you explore valiant parental and educational tips that all contribute to raising a hero.

*Register online by Wednesday, September 23rd, to receive the updates  and necessary links to attend our online event. A “Hero’s Package”  with some special goodies will be mailed to our families with elementary-aged students on a first come, first serve basis so don’t delay, register today!

I love the dual enrollment program because it gives students opportunities to attend actual college classes and to prepare to be full-time college student. Plus, it’s free, which helps my parents a lot. When I graduate I will have my freshman year of college done for free, and I will definitely be prepared for college.
