Springs Students Compete in County Spelling Bees

Springs students Profess Adhikari and Serah Joy placed 3rd and 6th in their respective county spelling bees. Profess is a 6th grade student with the Bear River Student Center and competed in the Riverside County Spelling Bee; Serah is an 8th grade Homeschool student and competed in the San Bernardino County Spelling Bee.

Learning Centers Offer Art Classes

At the Enterprise and Otay Ranch Learning Centers, teacher Jennifer Graham uses Artsonia, the world’s largest online collection of student art, to showcase and share her students’ artwork.

Homeschool Student Aspires to be Fighter Pilot

February 22, 2023

Alexander Larreta is a 7th-grade Homeschool student and Riverside resident who is a member of the Civil Air Patrol, a civilian auxiliary to the U.S. Air Force, with aspirations to attend the Air Force Academy and become a fighter pilot. As part of the Civilian Air Patrol, he attends weekly squadron meetings where he learns about aerospace “as well as how to be a leader, how to take care of my community, how to be disciplined & responsible, and how to respect others.”
