Alexander Larreta is a 7th-grade Homeschool student and Riverside resident who is a member of the Civil Air Patrol, a civilian auxiliary to the U.S. Air Force, with aspirations to attend the Air Force Academy and become a fighter pilot. As part of the Civilian Air Patrol, he attends weekly squadron meetings where he learns about aerospace “as well as how to be a leader, how to take care of my community, how to be disciplined & responsible, and how to respect others.”
