Springs’ Vista Student Center (also known as Vista Springs) received a technology boost with the addition of Owl cameras in each of its classrooms which vastly improves distance learning.
The teachers were excited to use them, reported Principal Sarah Adams including Monira Gruber (pictured, with Owl the tower to the right), who received her Owl the day after her birthday. Ms. Adams said, “It was the best birthday present she received this year!”
Springs’ Otay Ranch Academy for the Arts will also soon be receiving Owl cameras for their classrooms. Both were funded by a grant from the Girard Foundation of La Jolla, a private foundation that supports charter schools in San Diego County.
