Springs’ Montessori Voyage and Virtual Academy are wrapping up the school year and having fun, celebrating students, and showing appreciation to teachers, reported Lanise Goosby, Virtual Village principal.
“This year, our teachers have worked hard to build community in their classrooms; they have taken students on virtual field trips, played games, watched movies, made class memory books, and participated in our in-person park days and field trips,” said Ms. Goosby. “Their hard work and enthusiasm have blessed our students, families, and me. During teacher appreciation week, each teacher received a heartfelt gift because they are the real stars.”
The schools celebrated the year’s successes with Montessori Voyage holding Spring Awards and Open House, going to the Safari Park, and holding a Kindergarten Virtual Promotion and Park Day Celebration. Virtual Academy held Spring Awards and Open House and went to the Safari Park. They also held a kindergarten and 8th-grade Virtual Promotion and Kindergarten Park Day Celebration.
Montessori Voyage serves 82 students and Virtual Academy 164 students.
