The Homeschool team is pleased to announce a new offering at Springs’ Santa Ana Student Center beginning this fall. Students grade K-6 (depending on enrollment) will be able to participate in a two-day a week classical education-inspired program teaching science, history, and enrichment.
The new program will give Homeschool students the opportunity “to have a foot in both worlds” by blending independent home study with a classroom-based, active learning community, reported program organizer Tricia Gallagher, families receive the full benefit of support in two unique, yet complementary learning environments. Science and history core classes facilitate cooperative learning while incorporating real-world-related math and reading/writing. This school year program follows a four-year cycle of sequential history and science disciplines with each grade level span learning at their developmental level.
Classes will be held Monday and Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. For additional information and if you would like to enroll your child in this hybrid offering, please contact Tricia Gallagher at tricia.gallagher@springscs.
