Springs Venture 4th grade student Jordan Schneider has launched a new YouTube channel, Kid2Kid, intended to be a channel where “a kid teaches kids.” Jordan loves learning and passing on information to his fellow students; videos include scientist profiles and experiments.
Jordan enjoys being a part of the Venture program because it gives him the chance to work on projects at his own pace, as well as time to enjoy his hobbies of baseball and jujitsu. He added, “My favorite thing about Venture is that when we study something, my parents take me somewhere to show me how it works in real life.” When his class studied energy, for example, his parents took him to solar fields and a hydroelectric plant “so I could see how the things I was learning about worked.”
