Temecula Student Center (TSC) Academy Teacher Robin Felix held an Indoor Snow Day for Creative PE for her students.
They ice skated in their socks, made snow angels and had epic snowball fights. In the classrooms, students had to come up with strategic barricades using tables and desks. Additionally, Academy Teacher Cheryl Buettner’s 5th-grade students made Popsicle stick bridges.
In staffing news, the Center recognized the contribution of two staff members: Juanita Maclean, who teaches freshman health and is implementing new NGSS units, and Lee Ann Rogers, who has taken on the responsibilities of MTSS, as well as by running small group math remediation sessions, conducting parent conferences, and collecting data.
