Springs’ Temecula Student Center celebrated Kindness Week by spreading “kindness and positivity throughout our campus and community,” reported Principal Valerie Walker. She continued, “It was heartwarming watching students participate in activities all week long that celebrated and promoted kindness.”
Activities included asking students to write positive affirmations to themselves which were then strung together “to form a big ol’ kindness chain.” Valerie explained, “This shows our students that expressing kindness and positivity isn’t just about warm fuzzies – it’s about building a community rooted in support and understanding. By taking part in this project, our students will not only lift each other up but also strengthen their own social and emotional skills along the way.”
