Fatima Ruzmetova, 11, a 5th grade Homeschool student, is the March 2024 Student Artist of the Month. Her artwork is entitled “Galaxy Awesome.” Fatima lives in Riverside. She enjoys being homeschooled because she doesn’t have to rise early for school “yet I still receive the best education.”
She loves Springs, she said, “because it allows me to attend fun educational events such as the spelling bee, math extravaganza, writing extravaganza, and many fun educational field trips.” Fatima likes to draw using alcohol markers, acrylics, and watercolors. She likes to draw desserts. When she is not drawing, she likes playing piano, Scratch-coding, and reading history.
