Isabelle Won, a 5th-grade student at the Santa Ana Student Center, has founded K.I.D.S. (Kind Individuals Doing Service) in an effort to improve the lives of others in the community. She and her fellow students in K.I.D.S. plan to engage in a major project each month; the first one was handing out Valentine’s Day goodie bags filled with chocolates, pencils, erasers, and other treats to people in their community. Other plans include creating a website to recruit others to join their efforts.
