The Santa Ana Quest Academy and Homeschool Learning Center came together to celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week in “a meaningful and fun way,” reported Principal Priscilla Doorbar. Each day featured a unique theme that gave students the opportunity to show their appreciation:
Monday: Students wrote notes thanking their teachers.
Tuesday: Each student brought a flower for his/her teacher.
Wednesday: Students gifted their teachers a favorite beverage.
Thursday: Teachers received their favorite candies.
Friday: Students found their own unique ways to show appreciation for their teachers.
In addition to the themed days, parents from both programs went “above and beyond” by providing daily breakfasts, lunches, snacks, and a DIY floral arrangement station. Each teacher was able to design and take home her own bouquet, “a thoughtful and memorable gesture.”
Priscilla concluded, “The energy on campus was genuinely positive all week long. It was wonderful to see both programs celebrate together and recognize the dedication and hard work of our teachers and support staff.”
