Springs’ Renaissance Valley Academy serving grades 6-12 has been steadily growing, reported Vice Principal Brian Bailey, necessitating the hiring of new teachers and exploring opportunities to expand on an adjacent property. The school anticipates having 640 students in grades 6-12 when the school year begins.
RVA has moved into the new school year early with the launching of SPRINTS/OPTS webinars over the summer which are part of the Personalized Options Program (POP) model of learning in the high school academies. POP is designed to allow students to learn requisite standards in a manner that best suits their interests.
