Springs’ Cherry Valley Cooperative held a virtual Kindergarten Roundup to prepare for the new school year. As part of the Roundup, Tammy Slaten, assistant director, delivered 11 backpacks to students entering kindergarten with the school, which included materials to make a puppet, an alphabet coloring book to help students practice their alphabet, and a countdown to school sheet to follow to prepare for school.
(Pictured are new kindergarteners Brooke, Fiselle, and Julian with their new backpacks.)
Ms. Slaten said, “I do this to help our new students get excited about school.” The school serves 150 TK-8 students and another 50 high school students in the KEYS program.
New students are welcome. For more information, please call (951) 225-7450 or (951) 225-7452.
