Homeschool students at the Rancho Cucamonga Learning Center are learning about the importance of water conservation through a poster contest, reported teacher Bridget Brandon.
Ms. Brandon invited her students grades 1-8 to create posters encouraging water conservation. She said, “it’s an extremely important issue, especially considering that California has been going through a drought.”
Ms. Brandon noted that she teaches grades 1-4 about the water cycle, which gives her an opportunity to further stress the importance of conservation. Additionally, her 5th grade students will submit their posters to the Cucamonga Valley Water District’s 5th Grade Annual Poster Contest which will be held next Spring.
