Venture Online Student Wants to be a Marine Biologist

Nathaniel Schneider, a 7-year-old student with Springs’ Venture Online program, wants to be a marine biologist. The Hesperia resident’s brother, Jordan, is also a Springs student and is in the 4th grade. Their mother, Crystal Schneider, said that Springs has been a good fit for both her children. Venture Skater Plans Career in Medicine

Caylin R. is an 11th grade Springs Venture student who is a talented figure skater. She is working to complete a set of figure skating tests in classes she’s taking to improve her skills, and has begun an internship at a figure skating academy. Venture Equestrian Headed to Fresno State

Springs Venture Online senior Elle Martin, 17, is joining the NCAA Division 1 Equestrian Team at Fresno State. She credits her participation in Venture for giving her the opportunity to progress as a rider and student, and said, “I’m well prepared for the college-level riding and coursework that I’ll get to take at Fresno State.” Continue reading

Venture Online 8th Grader Enjoys Rodeo

Springs’ Venture Online 8th grade student Gracie-Beth Sutton, 13, is a gifted rodeo rider. Most recently, the Cherry Valley cowgirl earned the honor of California Junior High School Rodeo Division All Around Cowgirl, meaning she earned more points than any other girl at the state finals, and Breakaway Champion. Venture Senior Awarded College Scholarship for Wrestling

Jaydan Driskill, 18, a senior who will soon graduate from Springs’ Venture Online program, has received a full academic and women’s wrestling scholarship from Central Methodist University (CMU) in Missouri. She hopes to hone her wrestling skills at the CMU and compete in the Olympics in 2024 and 2028. Continue reading

Venture Online 7th Grade Student is a Gifted Gymnast

Erika DeVore, a 7th-grade student with Springs’ Venture Online Program, is a gifted gymnast. She began in the 2nd grade, and today is part of the United States Association of Independent Gymnastics Clubs (USAIGC). She hopes to earn a scholarship and continue with gymnastics into college. Venture Students on Year-long Trip Use U.S. Sites as Classroom

Venture Online students Avalon and Honor Martens, ages 8 & 6, have embarked on a year-long road trip with their photographer parents, Jess and Justin Martens, exploring the country and searching for the perfect place to call home.
