The Daily Refreshment’s goal is to connect parents to our schools with something helpful for their students, coming to their email inboxes three times a week. It can be an upcoming festival in the community, an art competition, a fun book review, an inspirational quote or video, or the most inventive stuff to do with that leftover cardboard. We create these tidbits hoping you will find them useful, interesting, inspirational, fun, and quirky. Feel free to forward our Daily Refreshment to your family and friends, as well as sharing them on your social media.

Based on feedback from families and staff, we have reorganized the Thursday Community Nights. From now on, we will meet on the third Thursday of the month from 4:00p.m.-5:30p.m. Each month’s special evening will include some theme based learning for all as well as a session of dancing for those who would like to learn some new moves. The rest of the Thursdays of the month, we will send out suggestions for independent family activities related to the theme that will help develop the learning. Since we will all be working together on this one Thursday event a month, we can put a bit more time into planning and all of the staff can participate to make the evening a collaborative success.
Please let Mrs. Ramirez or Mrs. Perez know if you have an idea for a theme. Our kick-off with the new format will be this Thursday, October 23rd from 4:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. Our theme this week will be Family Games Showcase. We hope you will join us and bring a game your family loves so you can show us and maybe even teach us how to play it.
