Emmit Lancaster, age 7, is in 2nd grade. He lives with his family in Anaheim, where he is the youngest of four boys.Emmit’s mother, Stacy Lancaster, said the family chose Springs because of its individualized learning and the quality of communication between teachers and parents. She added, “When I drop Emmit off at school, I know he’ll be well taken care of. The teachers and staff there are always so attentive.”
Her son has done well academically, and was on honor roll and received a mathematics award. Stacy observed, “Emmit is independent, and a good student. In fact, he gets mad at himself if he misses something.”
Emmit is well behaved, and also received a year-end humanitarian award. He is a young author; he likes writing and illustrating his own stories. He likes to play sports with his brothers, and plays basketball in a YMCA league.
He wants to be a dentist when he grows up. He says he looks up to God and his family.
