Cassandra Vasquez, 11, is Student Artist of the Month for October. She is in the 6th grade at the Hemet Quest Academy.
She likes to draw with crayons, markers and colored pencils. What she draws depends on her mood and feelings, but whatever it is, she wants it to be colorful. When she’s not drawing, she likes listening to music, watching YouTube and spending time with her family and friends.
She likes attending Hemet Quest Academy, she said, because “the teachers are awesome.” She especially likes the art and music enrichment offered at the school, and her classmates, who “make it fun to learn and grow.”
She hopes one day to go to college and study photography so she can travel and photograph her experiences.
