New Year Brings Staffing Changes

Springs has had staff members advance to new positions as well as welcomed new staff members for the 2023-24 school year. Staffing changes reported include:

Allen Neuenschwander is the new principal of the iShine Student Center; Priscilla Doorbar is the new Santa Ana Student Center principal. Both are in their first year with Springs and were highlighted in the August newsletter.

Springs’ Hemet Quest Student Center has a new vice principal, Dulce Ayon. She first came to the center as a campus aide in 2011 and has taught in a variety of roles since. She earned undergraduate and master’s degrees from Cal State Fullerton; her favorite subjects are math and ELA.

Springs’ Bear River Student Center also has a new vice principal, Tiffiny Aery. She is a graduate of Chapman University and began working for Springs in 2010. She is currently working on a master’s degree and credential at Grand Canyon University.

Springs’ Renaissance Valley Academy has a new vice principal, Barry Alavi. He earned a bachelor’s degree at Cal Poly SLO and a master’s at Cal Poly Pomona. He has taught for 15 years; this is his first year with Springs.

Corona Student Center Principal E.J. Whitehead reported that the Center has hired a new teacher, Nicole Barrios.

Hemet Quest Principal Eric Ballard noted that the school’s new PAC is Linda Collins, and new staff members include Stephanie Torres (ACE), Amy Stevens (ACE), Amparo Del Val (4th-grade teacher), Jessica Hansen (2nd-grade teacher), Jacob Schultz (2nd-grade teacher), Jasmine Van Duyn (Kindergarten teacher), and Giselle Cortez (school psychologist).
