New Rancho Cucamonga Cybersecurity, Music Programs

Springs’ Rancho Cucamonga Student Center has launched a cybersecurity program for grades 6-8 run in partnership with Tomorrow’s Talent, reported Principal Amanda Deniston. The program focuses on staying safe online, protecting personal information, using strong passwords, avoiding suspicious links, and practicing kindness and responsibility on social media and gaming platforms.

The Inland Empire is quickly becoming a cybersecurity career hub, Amanda believes, and Tomorrow’s Talent, founded by a former educator, “recognizes the importance of introducing these valuable skills early. Beyond safety, students are gaining a glimpse into one of the fastest-growing career fields.” In other Rancho Cucamonga news, the Center has also launched an after-school music class.

Students are being introduced to playing guitar, bass, and drums. It is being taught by Anthony Salinas, who is a musician himself. The class currently serves 10 students in grades 4-8. More instruments will be added as the program grows.
