Vincent Timpe is a new English teacher for Springs Journey Homeschool High School, teaching at the Santa Ana Learning Center. He has been a teacher for eight years, teaching at a variety of grade levels in middle and high school, covering such subjects as English, journalism, speech and debate, Model United Nations, and yearbook.
He has taught in California, Utah, and Peru, and even volunteered to teach in Uganda. He is originally from Chicago and earned a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from San Diego State University and a master’s degree in education from Alliant International University. He played college baseball and added, “My travels have taken me to five continents, and I plan to visit the remaining two within the next five years.”
