Savannah Mitchell, 11, a student at Springs’ Magnolia Student Center, was honored by the Girl Scouts for being one of the top 21 selling girls in her council for 2019 cookie sales.
She placed 3rd in her age category, grades 6-8, selling 5,417 boxes of cookies. Because of her success in selling the cookies, she now has the opportunity to go on Girl Scouts-funded trips to Canada, China, and Japan. Her mother, Kara, said, “We are beyond excited about the opportunities that Savannah will have this summer and it would not have been possible without [Springs’] support.”
