Springs Charter Schools’ La Fuente Academy in Oceanside, which offers Springs’ dual immersion Spanish English 50/50 program, will hold a Feria (Fair) on Friday, June 3, 4-7 p.m. Participants will enjoy tacos, helados (ice cream), Latin dance lessons, a rock climbing wall, face painting, and a photo booth. There will also be La Fuente staff members on hand to offer tours of the facility and answer questions for potential students and their parents.
La Fuente serves students TK-6. As a dual language program, students learn in English and Spanish, with an emphasis on family involvement. The program incorporates learning through activities, such as cooking typical Latin and American dishes, Salsa, and square dancing. The students also take many local field trips.
