Springs Homeschool graduating senior Zachary Thomas, 18, was named Student of the Year by the Murrieta Chamber of Commerce. Zachary has been a Homeschool student for four years, and was previously an academy student. He plans to attend Cal Baptist University in the fall; the award included a $2,500 scholarship.
“He’s an exceptional student, and a remarkable young man,” said Courtnie Wallace, Zachary’s ES, who noted that he is active in the community, and has an interest in photography and art. “He’s well deserving of the award, and we’re all excited for him.”
