Springs’ learning centers have reopened and have begun offering a limited number of classes to students. Eight locations are offering in-person classes one morning or afternoon weekly to the nearly 200 students who have returned to campus.
Families and staff completed safety training and made an agreement to follow set protocols in order to hold in-person classes at a limited capacity. In-person teachers are teaching a variety of the classes that have been offered virtually this year, such as Oceanography and Art with a Twist. A modified virtual schedule continues to provide classes online for those choosing that option.
Marla Martindale, director of learning centers, said, “Our teachers are thrilled to be in the classroom with students again, and students are excited as well.”
In addition, Homeschool families that have elected to meet in person with their Education Specialists have begun meeting after completing training and have had the opportunity to resume in-person vendor services.
