Grandparent of FAPA Student Grateful for Springs

Springs released a video keeping with its 2019-20 school year theme “There’s no place like Springs,” prompting Paul Henry, grandparent of a Springs student, to write: “This video reminds me of the seven years I homeschooled my autistic grandson. He is now a sophomore at [Springs’] Flabob Airport Preparatory Academy [FAPA].

The staff, starting with [Principal] Robin [Davis], all the way down to the teachers, embody parental choice … Two people stand tall in my nine years as Logan Ryan’s advocate/teacher, Michelle Sullivan, his lead teacher and Crystal Vu, his RSP at FAPA. Springs warms my heart when we overcome the obstacles that come with autism.”

Dr. Davis responded, “Mr. Henry is one of many fabulous and supportive parents. He has been supportive since day one! Thank you for sharing with us all. Mr. Henry, Logan and all of my families is my ‘why.’  I know we make a difference.”
