The Riverside County Office of Education named its annual Art Connects Poetry honorees. Matthew Brown, 8th grade, and Bella Morin, 7th grade, of Springs’ Bear River Student Center received honorable mention. Bear River teacher Ray Jaime organized the classroom poetry competition; students competed for a $75 gift card and were able to submit poems to the county competition.
