Profess Adhikari, a 5th-grade student from Springs’ Bear River Student Center, finished 6th place in the Riverside County spelling bee.
He competed against 26 first-place winners in grades 4-8 from other school districts in Riverside County. Venture Online 6th grade student Abraham Wilson, Springs’ 2nd place spelling bee winner, served as an alternate.
Profess noted that his parents helped him study for the spelling bee. His favorite subjects are Language Arts and Math. He hopes to become a successful entrepreneur. He entered the spelling bee, he said, “because I wanted to push my academic limits and I wanted to put my spelling skills to the test.”
