Middle school students at Springs’ Corona Student Center enjoyed an annual kite festival, which included a math lesson on a special quadrilateral called a “kite.” Students made their own kites and spent the afternoon at a local park flying their creations.
Corona science students also dissected plants, cows’ eyes and sharks and incubated chicken eggs, gathering and analyzing science and math data throughout the process. Other projects included the creation of life-like volcanoes.
