Eighth Grade Transition

Eighth-grade students should begin to think seriously about high school to prepare for the decisions and changes that they will face in grades 9-12. In an effort to ease the difficulty that many adolescents have in making the transition to high school and to explain our graduation requirements, Springs Charter Schools Counseling Department has created an interactive PowerPoint presentation.

Report Child Abuse

California Penal Code determines that all school staff are required to report to the Child Welfare Services Department any suspected child abuse or neglect. All reports must be filed within 36 hours of obtaining knowledge of the incident/incidences.  Please click here to download a copy of the report form.

CAASPP FAQ

CAASPP General Information
ALL 3rd – 8th, 10th, and 11th grade students enrolled in Citrus, Empire, Harbor, Pacific, River, and Vista Springs will be taking the CAASPP test.
All 5th, 8th, 11th, and a select number of 12th grade students (those who have not previously taken CAST in High School) will also be taking the CAST Science Test.
