Director of Academy Operations & Relations
I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Western Washington University and a Master’s Degree from the University of Texas in Curriculum and Instruction. Prior to Springs, I taught in Texas and served as the director within a California public charter school.
Family time, travel, outdoor activities, cooking/baking, decor and animals!
I really love interesting biographies and inspiring true stories. Growing up, I loved stories with animals like Where the Red Fern Grows and even the allegory Animal Farm.
English
I have river rafted five rivers in five different states. Some of the more interesting places I have been are Kenya, Uganda and Israel. Each year, our family vacations to Hawaii together and we love finding new adventures and food experiences (including the perfect shave ice stand). In Texas, I was teacher of the year for my school and also the Grapevine-Colleyville school district. I was also ESL teacher of the year for the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex. My favorite thing about education is watching kids analyze/think and learning from them on how they might approach and solve a math problem.
