The Virtual Village staff gathered for a personal development day, reported Lisa Fahrenkamp, program facilitator. Components included Canvas and Cocoa, in which staff created paintings based on a Winter Wonderland theme.

Staff members Christine Sithichai and Janan Willes led professional development training, covering topics such as Branching Minds, Writing Performance Tasks, and CAASPP training. Meals and a gift exchange were also a part of the day.
In other Virtual Village news, more than 100 staff and Springs family members participated in a park day during which students created snowflake bookmarks and ornaments and enjoyed playground games.
